A large firm with more than 525 attorneys practicing around the world, Faegre & Benson needed a fully integrated web marketing program, incorporating a powerful and user-friendly corporate website, enterprise content management system, proposal automation solution, and an email marketing system capable of servicing thousands of subscribers.

Saturno worked with the firm through their redesign project to meet these challenges by deploying a suite of software products and web marketing tools developed specifically for law firms. With the firm website as the focal-point, 3 core systems were developed to support and expand the firm's web marketing initiatives.

Clean and Simple, Dynamic Website Navigation

Navigation is user-friendly, and makes effective use of dynamic, interactive menus with additional options in each main website category. Menus are controlled and customized using the Saturno WebBack ™ content management system.

Comprehensive Legal Service Offering

As a large firm, the array of legal services the firm offers is extensive. To make it easy for visitors to locate the information they need, a service menu page was developed to show industries, practice areas, and practice specialties in a single place. Expanding/collapsing navigation options allow for large numbers of links in a relatively small area. 

Practice Pages Using Tabbed Navigation

Presenting a large collection of information for each practice group is accomplished by using tabbed navigation. Attorneys, publications, experience, and other information related to a specific practice is easy to locate by clicking individual tabs on the practice area page. Cross-linking on practice area pages exposes related information like attorney biographies, articles and publications, and other relevant content.

Multiple Versions of Attorney Biographies

Many firms wish to show the breadth of their attorneys' experience by offering multiple versions of specific attorney biographies on their websites. However, this poses navigational and search engine challenges. To solve these problems the Saturno team developed biographies with tabbed navigation that allow the firm to post all the versions of an attorney's biography within a single interface. Visitors to the biography page can easily navigate through various versions of the attorney's bio by clicking on the tabs across the top. All bios feature vCard downloads with complete contact information.

Attorney & People Search

With more than 525 attorneys practicing in many states and multiple countries, it is essential that visitors are easily able to locate information about specific attorneys. The advanced searching tools offered on the website make it easy for website visitors to locate a specific attorney's biography or contact information by name, area of law, office location, etc.

Enterprise Website Content Management

The firm manages content as a team using the Saturno WebBack ™ content management system. Faegre manages a vast library of content that includes thousands of web pages, attorney biographies, and other marketing content. All content stored in this system is repurposed through a proposal system (Saturno Proposal Suite ™), and an email marketing system (Saturno Email Marketing Center ™).

Web-Delivered Client Proposals

Leveraging their entire library of marketing content stored in the Saturno WebBack content management system, the firm creates proposals quickly and efficiently as team. Proposals are posted to the web as password-protected websites. Proposals are also available as word documents, highly customized and created quickly and easily.  The system also provides powerful metrics, with a complete proposal history and customizable win/loss reports.

Powerful Email Marketing

To send email newsletters to thousands of subscribers on a regular basis, the firm uses Saturno Email Marketing Center ™. All news, articles, events, and other content available on the firm's website can be quickly and easily sent to subscribers. Subscribers can use the firm website to manage their subscriptions, and select or cancel various publications that the firm offers.
